This was such an alternate and captivating read that figured out how to grasp me and catch my consideration from the very beginning. I was not familiar with 'super recognizers' but I was interested to learn more and become more knowledgeable about the topic. In addition to the fact that it kept me at the edge of my seat, it felt so new and had a particularly special storyline running all through. Told from different POV's ---Kate herself, her ex, Jake, and her Ex-manager, Silas, this is a competition to uncover the reality. This was chilling, strange, with a spice of drama. It has some good characters and overall a good read. The book showcases themes like that of identity, obsession, and self-deception. Events unfold in a seemingly never-ending stream of twists and turn including some distinctly dystopian elements before the book reaches its heart-thumping, nail-biting climax. All in all, I would suggest it.
