The first impression was quite short and in each chapter is jumped in time and narrator which was a little disjointed. However, I'm sure as the book progresses this will start to make sense.

We start at the scene of a murder of a young woman, who was killed in her home. A journalist, Isla, is on the scene of the crime.

We then jump to Freya and her perspective. She has something to do with the murder but we are not sure in what capacity at this stage. Then we jump back 5 years to Freya at college when she meets her friend Kate.

I think this book has potential, as it seems to be written well, although there was not enough to see much character and plot development.
