The cover really grabbed my attentions - it's the action you'd make as a kid when making a pact, but added with the prank mentioned in the blurb, it gives the feel of people acting childish but with dire consequences. I really liked the first chapter, how it was so different from the following ones, but sets the scene so well and in a way that we all know - you hear an argument or a loud bang and you just ignore it for ease. I'm really intrigued to read more!
