I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. The two lead female characters are key to the storyline and the author has succeeded in making them real and interesting. The narrative jumps backwards and forwards between before and after a murder and from the two lead character's points of view, which in some books can be confusing and lead to a disjointed storyline, but the author manages it successfully and at no time did I feel lost or have the need to go back and re-read to check things.
There are a strong selection of supporting cast members and the author is very adept at creating their characters so that you can almost see both them and the setting for the events that unfold.
The plot twists and turns and I read it nearly in one sitting. I don't want to give too much away - you need to read this one!
