I found The Pact to be a gripping novel which wove different themes through the books narrative. Not just a crime thriller this is a tale of the dark side of work and what women have to endure to make it to the top in their careers.
Whilst I saw some of the plot twists coming, there were enough surprises to keep me gripped, right until the final pages. Overall a good read which I would recommend!
