I was instantly hooked after reading the first few chapters, and it did not disappoint. I normally hate it when the plot jumps back and forth in time, however I think it was perfect as it built the right amount of suspense and additional questions. I found the characters intriguing, I loved Isla and Simon so so so much. I also loved Kate and found myself wishing for a friend like her. I have to admit I hated Natalie, yet felt sorry for her - and Freya was highly unlikeable but I was so intrigued by her and still connected with her. I think Amy has done a fantastic job of the novel, and had me guessing all the way throughout. Normally by half way I have at least 5 people as suspects, but I couldn't even narrow it down. By far my favourite thriller of 2019!!!!
