At the start of the book I became a little confused as each chapter switched from different characters and different aspects of time. However, as the book wore on and I became more involved in the story and each character, this style of writing suited the book and offered the reader a chance to see each character differently and understand their past and the build up to present day events.
The Pact follows Freya as she begins her new job at Atypical and suffers bullying, harrassing text messages and has to manage a colleagues murder.
I REALLY enjoyed this novel and as I got further involved within Freya and Islas lives and the story, I found myself not being able to put the book down.
This story shows how bullying and harrasment can happen in the work place and the impact it can have on females and the support they can offer each other.
Throughout the book, I had in mind who I thought the killer was but I found myself shocked at the twist at the end of the book and even more shocked when I read the epilogue.
