I was very keen to read this book after reading the first look but was a bit disappointed. I thought it a bit slow at first and then seemed to rush towards the ending. I thought it strange that it was left to Isla the journalist to uncover some of the clues for example surely the police would have investigated Nicole's phone calls and her computer. There are several topics tackled on the book. Isla becomes obsessed with the murder as she knows from her own experience that women are often made to feel any attack upon them is their own fault. Freya is a victim of office bullying and sexual harassment. The book is written in short easy to read chapters which start on the day of the murder and go back and forward in time.
