Criminal “who done it” with a #metoo theme.
The female protagonists, Freya and Isla, have negative experiences victimised by men that they each need to come to terms with.
This novel may be more appropriately truly targeted at the younger female reader - aged 20s / 30s.
I found that more emotion could have been delivered through first person narratives from Freya and Isla - this was a missed opportunity.
Each chapter moves back and forth through time and passes between following Freya or Isla - this was a tad jarring and involved me thumbing back through the pages to keep focussed.
I did guess who done it.
Worth reading but it did take me a while to get into this read.
