After a seemingly harmless prank goes wrong, a co-worker of the main character (Freya) is found lying dead in her own apartment.We get to see how all of the characters involved deal with the unfortunate consequence of a stupid prank.
The writing style made easy to follow along. But occasionally, it did seem a bit chunky and drawn out. The book could have been much faster paced and shorter if the author had gone straight to the point.
I cannot say that I fully enjoyed the hopping between past and present. It added to the story times, but it was confusing.
The characters were well thought out and developed. But I somehow still found most of them annoying. I guess they simple got in my nerves.
Overall, a good book with a very powerful and needed message in today’s society.
