π The synopsis had me so intrigued. I had to read this immediately... but despite for my hype, I still struggled to complete even the first chapter.

πBy the halfway point I could not bring myself to complete the book... The writing felt bland, i didnt connect to the charachters and I really didn't care for the mystery.

π The Pact is a multiple perspective murder mystery, in which a prank goes wrong and leads to murder, the idea I liked, id say its a very easy to read, almost ya mystery. i had imagined it to be more of a thriller, but it was less of a grasp you by the throat, and plunge you off a cliff story, rather more of a slow burning suspence.

π I found two of our charachters so annoying and honestly hates reading from their perspectives which made up most of the book.

πOverall I gave it β star. i might read it again at some point in the future but for the time being, this book just isn't for me.
