Intrigued by the cover, not entirely sure about the blurb

I'm a big fan of thrillers, crime, anything that gets me thinking and wondering who did what and who we should trust/believe. The book cover is easily one I would pick up to read the blurb, but I'm not entirely sure if it would be the book I actually purchased over all the other great choices out there (it's a tough marker after all). This, of course intrigues me into wanting to read it to find out if that would be the wrong decision.
