The idea is great, but feels like it is hanging on the coattails of Gone Girl a little. That doesn't mean the book isn't well written (it is) but does feel like it is fishing for readers rather than something from the heart. That said, The Perfect Stranger is a great read and captures both the imagination and the suspense that fuels you t read on and on.
