The friendship dynamic is one of my favourite things to read about in books, and The Perfect Stranger starts off by exploring this very well, entwining the stories of Leah and her best friend Emmy together in a knot that will undoubtedly start to unravel further into the narrative.
Interestingly, one thing that stood out to me was the writing style - I loved it. The writing style is not often something that draws me in, especially with thrillers, so to pick up on it is unusual. I found it engaging and far from the ordinary prose mainstream thrillers sometimes tend to have. Will definitely be putting this on my To Be Read list.
