A riveting storyline with likeable, interesting characters. I really enjoyed the fact that so many of the characters were flawed and so more realistic rather than polished too god to be true sorts. They all made mistakes.

Leah was a fairly strong female lead character with the ability to fight back against some of the more difficult things that she had to face.

The storyline definitely made me think about how much you actually know people and how sometimes you trust people completely that you shouldn’t.

There were lots of twists and turns and a fair few creepy characters for one small town!

It was fast-paced and kept me reading. I wanted to find out what would happen next.

I also liked the ending of the story which isn’t always the case. It felt as though a lot was wrapped up in a fairly succinct way.

I do love a crime novel so I’m always a little biased but this one was a very enjoyable one!
