This was the first book I’d read by this author and was very pleased someone had left it at the hook swap by the pool. It always makes me happy finishing a good book to know there are others by the same author and in the same genre to read next! This is full of mystery and suspense and is very well written. The character, a female journalist, living in America runs into a friend from the past, there’s then an assault and a disappearance.. with detective work to uncover the truth, the character questions her own version of events and that of what is reality. This did keep me guessing. I also really enjoyed ‘ All the missing girls’ by the same author and have now read several books by Megan Miranda
