If I'm being honest I didn't think this book would be all that good. I thought it would be full of thriller cliches and boring characters as well has having a lack of tension but I was wrong. This book put me on edge while reading and made me paranoid that maybe someone was watching me in my own home, admittedly I was mostly reading after dark which probably didn't help my nerves but I'm so happy this book proved me wrong. The character's were interesting and well developed. The plot was interesting and had good pace although it was occasionally a little confusing but all the loose ends got tied up at the end and made things far clearer.

The book is a slow burner but it has good tension and is very easy to read. The characters themselves will give you mixed feelings at times but they are written well and some are even somewhat likable whereas some are just unnerving which is great because it keeps you on your toes about them.

All in all this was a much better thriller than I thought it would be. I'm used to reading thrillers with more action and murder and even though this did have a murder or two, there isn't much action, it's a book that relies on tension and paranoia to start seeping into your head, to make you feel that it's not only the main character that's being watched but you too. And don't get me wrong, this isn't only about a stalker, it's so much more than that. There's missing friends and murdered people and it all collides in a big web of mystery and intrigue.
