I really enjoyed reading this book it explored the past and present moving backwards and forwards with great ease no conflicting or confusing story to confuse you as a lot of books trying to do this eventually do. A great build up of characters and a very well constructed plot that didn`t give away any clues as to where the plot would end up going. a good story of people trying to get away from the problems life has thrown at them with disastrous consequences. but the brilliant plot twist comes as a huge surprise and not one that's been over done by other authors in the past, I have not read the previous book but will be reading it as soon as possible. strong writing and strong characters in a wonderful plot. Struggled to put the book down and read within a few days always a good sign the books great
