The Perfect Stranger is the second novel I've read by Megan Miranda, and being honest I didn't enjoy the first book I read, it didn't thrill me or grip me. BUT this one was completely different.

Leah Evans was a successful journalist until one article she took it far and left with her with no job, no boyfriend and a ruined friendship. When Leah bumps into her old friend and roommate Emmy, she takes Emmy up on her other to join her move to Pennsylvania. However Leah's fresh start is put at risk when a women who looks very familiar to Leah shows up dead, and her roommate Emmy disappears.

I had about 4 different theories running through my head when reading this, none of them correct haha! But the fact this book was able to keep me guessing is what really made it an interesting read, I didn't want to put it down because I had to find out what happened Emmy and who she was.

The story unfolds at a good pace and didn't feel bored at any point throughout reading this, it was suspenseful and Miranda was able to feed us little details within the chapters to keep us intrigued but not so much that the ending became obvious.
