went into this book trying not to compare it to Megan's other work 'All the Missing Girls' which I wasn't a fan of. But reading them so close together I can at least say I enjoyed this one way more.

One thing Megan can do is make you feel there has been someone inside your house. With vivid descriptions of items being moved and just the feeling of offness actually made me feel the same panic of thinking I was being watched.

Although this one is more character driven than plot driven it felt well paced and kept me on the edge wanting to find out. Each new reveal and the connections between the characters gripped me and I had to finish the book in 2 sittings. There were a few obvious plot twists but I didn't mind because it was still a great story.

This is one of those thrillers where you feel the need to question everything and it is just what I love in a thriller.
