So many plot twists it's difficult to keep up
I loved this book, but I really had an issue with actually following what was going on. The plot was going from point to point, back and forth, and I have actually been left not knowing which people were actually guilty and which were good at the end of it all. If this was the author's intention then she did an excellent job! It was still a very enjoyable book to read despite any issues I had with the plot.
Emmy is particularly difficult to follow (obviously she was intentionally portrayed in this way) and the many names that were thrown around, Ammi, Melissa, were these actually her, or were they other people after all? Even after finishing and going back to reread parts to check, I am still confused, however the ending is easy to understand, it's very clear what's happening.
I might try rereading this in a few months to see if it helps to ease some of my confusion.
