I was pleasantly surprised with this read! I didn't expect it to go where it did just from reading the blurb.
I enjoyed the plot and thought it was very well thought out. I love crime/thrillers and this was great as you just couldn't tell how it was going to end. The author did well on keeping the mysterious character of Emmy going throughout the book.
I felt Leah was quite a distant protagonist however, that didn't mean i disliked her.
The scene was set well and I could imagine clearly in my head what their house was like.
I loved Kyle Donovan's character!
The only thing that let me down was how long it took for things to actually get moving. I understand that this also can represent a real life missing persons case which might have been the authors aim.
Overall, it's definitely worth a read!
