This was a very quick read for me. I read this book in pretty much one sitting because I needed to know how everything was going to turn out. I found all the characters intriguing. The character of Emmy seemed so mysterious and vague that I really had no idea what her motivation was at all. Our narrator and main character, Leah, was complex and interesting. I did not always like her or agree with her choices but I was still drawn to her story and finding out how it would end.
I though this thriller was well written and there was an eerie, sinister feeling throughout the whole novel. The author has a real skill for not giving too much away too quickly and keeping her reader gripped to the plot. I will definitely be looking out for new works from Megan Miranda and I will read her previous books too!
