The book was a slow start for me but once I was a couple of chapters into the book I could not put it down. It was an easy read but did not have your usual predictable plot. As just when you think you have got an idea of exactly what is happening then a curve ball is thrown, is there an Emmy Grey or is Leah Stevens making her up to cover up her own culpability? How do the two pupils Izzy and Theo fit into the picture, why does Leah hide the stuff she finds and is Kyle trustworthy?

Leah's decisions, right or wrong, appear to be made as a result of being on the defensive after her experience in Boston, and perhaps that goes some way to explaining why things play out the way they do in the current situation.

Definitely an enjoyable book for fans of easy to read psychological thrillers.
