Gripped
I loved how the book started off, in the countryside, by the sea, with the mysterious boy and mother, jumping to cosmopolitan London and into the life of a journalist.
There was certainly lots going on; her scrape with a serial killer, the recent discovery that her brother was murdered, the big court case dominating the news....then a body is found floating in the Thames, clearly there’s been foul play... by the time I finished the sneak peek I was annoyed I couldn’t read on. This definitely seems like a book you won’t put down once you pick it up. Excited to read this one. Was left wanting to know more of the other characters too.
