Sophie Kent seemed like a different but likeable character. She was someone that although maybe not your typical main character she had enough complexities and interesting parts to her to make her worthwhile learning about and listening to. It is also always interesting when stories begin with something that seems completely unrelated to the main section of the story and you have to try to figure out how they are going to connect and who the child in 1988 that set fire to his house was. It definitely left you wanting to read more.
