Sophie is a crime writer for the London Herald and she had her own demons to fight courtesy of a serial killer whom she managed to survive. After a weekend switched off from her technology and under the influence of many sleeping pills it is now Monday and a jogger has found a female corpse in the water at a local park. Monday sucks!

Nice, flowing writing style but in a genre filled with so many excellent writers I am not sure that is enough to make this stand out from the pack. This is quite a short First Impression and it is hard to get a grip on the handful of characters we have been introduced to. Not entirely sure that there is enough here to warrant further reading but it could just be a slow starter.
