I have been looking for a thriller/mystery novel to grip me since I read The Girl on the Train in December, and I think this could be it. It sounds like a great page turner that will keep me up until the early hours of the morning. I am mainly drawn to this however because of the potential for an unreliable narrator that is blinded by bias, which will add an additional twist to the story and the progression of the plot.
I also adore this cover. I love how you have to truly focus on it to distinguish the girl in the red dress in the water, which adds an ominous and sinister effect. The title is also very gripping and likely to steal the attention of those in bookshops passing by.
