To say that I enjoyed this read would be an understatement. To say that I stayed up longer than I should have done for two nights and almost missed my bus stop to finish this read is the truth!
In most books a journalist is someone the reader shouldn’t like, especially in a crime based thriller but Sophie is brilliant! Hard working, smart mouthed and damaged she soon starts to suspect that her friends marriage, seemlingly tainted from the start, isn’t all that it first appeared. But can one of her closest friends really be guilty of what he is being accused of?
The ending had me on the edge of my seat, I rushed it so much I’ve since had to go back and re read it. Twists and turns kept me guessing right to the end and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this author in the future!
