Having not heard of Corrie Jackson, I wasn’t sure what to expect from The Perfect Victim. But, I was pleasantly surprised. From the first chapter, I was hooked wanted to find out more about the characters and their seemly different backgrounds.
This book is very readable and I will be looking out for further Corrie Jackson (and Sophie Kent) stories.
The book starts with Sophie Kent, reporter for a London-based paper, being called to a crime-scene (a body in the river). Events soon unfold to discover the number one murder suspect is her good friend and colleague, Charlie Swift. The book follows Sophie as she tries to discover the truth about the murder, her friend and his background.
A good read, I recommend.
