The cover is beautifully designed and draws the eye straight away. If I saw this book I would definitely pick it up.
I felt so sorry for Rebecca. It must have been inexplicably hard to be a woman in those times! I am so keen to know who Eva is - is she really having an affair with Alexander? The writing is so well done, the speech of the time seems natural and realistic. And the blurb describing Rebecca suffering heroin addiction is such a novel idea; I can tell already that this will be a great read.
