The cover of this book was so beautiful I had to see what was inside.
I found it was a little hard going at the very start but it only took a few pages to be hooked. I have always been fond of books set in the victorian era and so had high hopes when I read the first few chapters of this book.
I was not dissapointed. Like I said, at first it was a little tough to get through, but when I perservered ( It really wasn't that much, maybe just the first couple of pages or so) I very much enjoyed it. The style of writing captured the essence of the time period perfectly and the pace of the book had me eager to find out what was going on.
I will be recommending this to everyone I know as for their next read.
