I absolutely loved this book. I mean just look at the cover, it completely draws you in. I read it in one day and couldn't put it down. It's gothic and dark, it is about heroin and the discovery of it and what it can do to a person once it takes hold. I loved the characters, and the women were strong and powerful and learnt to fight the men who tried to destroy them. I can't rate of enough and can't wait to read another story from this author. He flow of writing and the way she describes the characters feelings just made you want to carry on reading. This isn't usually a genre I would go for but I had heard so many good reviews I was glad I tried it and will be looking for more authors like this.
