I know this book has got glowing reviews from pretty much everyone who has posted a review and I’m sure those reviews are well deserved. And yet I just could not feel the same about the book at all. I tried to like it, honest I did, but for the life of me I just don’t get what’s so great about it.
The premise of the story is not bad but I found myself just not interested to tell the truth. I didn’t like the style of writing and felt I couldn’t get drawn into it. Admittedly it’s not the type of book I generally buy but that doesn’t necessarily stop me from enjoying books in other genres but this one just wasn’t one for me.
Sorry to be so negative but hey we can’t all like everything. I’m sure I’m in the minority.
