First of all let me start with the front cover:
Love it - from the small images around the main medicine bottle you can tell that this novel is going to be set in the Victorian times. There’s also that striking hint of danger from the red standing out amongst the rest.
ChRacters:
The character of Rebecca is instantly likable, in stark contrast to her overbearing, arrogant husband who we quickly learn is the stereotypical Victorian husband. I also really liked the underlying theme of love and the hero character of Gabe.
Plot - I found this a really easy read, a little slow at times and the ending didn’t satisfy me as much as I’d hoped but it was still an enjoyable read hence the four stars.
