Well that was a prologue and a half, my heart was racing after the first 2 pages! And now I need to know more - just what is the story with Alaina Hixon? And why are all these people travelling to Birdlake? And as for the stone walls, what does that signify? The first few chapters have me filled with intrigue as they're all hinting at odd happenings and already the book seems to be filled with unease and menace and I'm desperate to read further!
