The cover is quite dark and the synopsis is somewhat appealing. However, I didn't enjoy the extract. It seems very similar to The Anomaly, which I didn't enjoy, so I'm not interested in reading the rest of this book. That being said, I'm sure fans of The Anomaly will like this.
