Though this is not my type of genre the story kept me reading. I am not a fan of American English so some of the text was not my taste.
The story is intriguing though, when a group of explorers arrive in a remote American outback town to investigate the appearance of mysterious stone walls. No one knows who built them or why. A young teenage girl had also gone missing some time before.
The townsfolk are hostile to the explorers, and they are met with suspicion and silence. There appears a link between the missing girl and the mystery of the stone walls.
The team are drawn into the search as a thick fog descends on the town cutting it off from the rest of the world.
It is gripping read.
