This is the first book I've read my Michael Rutger and I'm not sure if that was a mistake or not, I only recently found out this book is the second in a series🤔

I did enjoy this book, it was creepy, kept me on edge and genuinely had me super interested. HOWEVER, there were times where I felt confused and like I was just reading unnecessary filler. The beginning was pretty slow and it did cause me to lose interest now and then but once it picked up I was straight on board.

Now even though I enjoyed the horror aspects of this book and the chills that came with it, I did also enjoy the drama, the background and the teenage angst involved in the plot. I also may have been routing for Nolan and Kristy to rekindle their marriage 🤫

I'm sad to say I didn't quite fall in love with this book, but that aside I did enjoy it and I recommend it to those looking for a bit of a spook. P. S I definitely think this is a bed time read! I shall now look forward to picking up the first book in the series
