This book gave me the chills. It was the way the people in the town were reacting to things that were happening, you just knew that this town had a story to tell. And boy was it a story.

At first I did start to think how exciting mysterious stone walls could be? But, then a missing teenage girl was thrown into the mix. By the end of part one of the book I was shocked at the development.

What follows is a tale of eerie goings on, strange townfolk who have creepy wisdom to bestow on Nolan and his gang. A lot of fog, things that go bump in the night or knock in the closet. This story had all the tell tale scary story stuff that we need.

If you have read Michael Rutgers 'The Anomaly Files' you will have met these characters before. I however haven't read it, but I will definitely be buying it now.

The chemistry between the characters was good, and from them we got a bit of sarcasm and light relief in among the creepy stuff.

I'd recommend this book to those who like a bit of scare fest. But content warning it does involve witchcraft
