This is the second book in the series, I really enjoyed the first one so I had great hope's for this one. I found it was more complicated and I found that I had to 're read parts several times to understand it,it was a little slow in places and there was a lot about rock's, stones and walls. The main character's were the same as the first book and a new main character was the estranged wife of the main explorer.
This is a good series so hopefully they will be more to come. It did take a good while to read it but it was mainly due to having to go back to read it again. The writing was strong and interesting and I did learn a little history.The book was a good length and I liked the cover and picture in book.
