Right so, this book okay. So the mystery is gripping and wonderful and intriguing. It comes with twists and turns. And witches? I know not what I was expecting right. And whilst Nolan, Pierre, Ken and Kirsty share one collective brain cell mostly looked after by molly, who has two whole brain cells of her own. The characters are wonderfully addictive. As much as I love the characters and appreciate them there are a few issue with this book in general. Issue one, there’s some very odd forced feminism in this book that I personally didn’t appreciate, I don’t need to read words for things that don’t exist like “mansplaining” which occurred several times and I’m pretty sure two of the characters implied all men should die. The other big one being that not only was the conclusion rushed and confusing but it felt altogether dissatisfying. I cannot give it more stars because I feel unsatisfied.
