I was really excited when I initially read the first impression and I honestly thought this book would change my mind about the thriller/suspense/horror genre of books (which I generally avoid because i find most predictable and samey as other books of the same genre) and then I was even more excited when I found out that i'd won a hardback version to review. However, that's where my excitement ended. I found it really hard to get into and with it being such a long book, I must admit, I gave up. I feel like thriller/suspense/horror genre books are just simply not for me, however, if you enjoy reading that sort of genre, you will probably enjoy this book, just as most others have, if you don't steer clear.
