The story is about a small group of people who are involved in The Anomaly Files a televised programme about unsolved mysteries. They go to Birchlake a small town in Northern California to investigate small spiral walls that were seen in the town. The group are met with hostility and discover that a teenage girl has gone missing and it seems that it could be linked to the walls.
I was looking forward to reading this book after having read the excerpt. The story started off well and made me want to read more, but as the story unfolded it seemed to go on and on. The writing flowed well and was easy to read, the characters worked well together although using the word “love “ is a bit condescending when talking to a woman. I would still read another book by this author.
