I was enjoying this when I started it. The characters were just as interesting as they had been in The Anomaly but unfortunately I sort of lost my interest after a while. However, I did like seeing how the events of The Anomaly had an effect on the characters and I did like seeing more of Kristy. I liked her character.
Unfortunately, the events couldn't keep my interest and some parts felt very anticlimactic. I thought that it could have been more suspenseful and maybe more scary. I did really like the start and wish that the rest of it had continued like that.
I'm okay with the ending but I don't think I'll be reading on if there is another book unless the premise seems REALLY interesting. I just don't enjoy the direction these books end up taking.
