The Possession is the second book in Michael Rutger's series 'The Anomaly Files'. Having read the first book, and thoroughly enjoying it, I was excited to read this one. The Possession leads of from the first book, where it follows the lead Character Nolan who runs a YouTube Channel called the Anomaly Files. In a small village, mysterious stone walls have been found in the area, so Nolan and his team travel to this remote place to investigate. Meanwhile, Nolan's ex, is a journalist to investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl, which might just be connected.

The Possession didn't disappoint. Rutger's writing really knows how to capture the creepy tension and suspense. Throughout the story, it was full of twists and turns. However, if you are looking for a logical reason, there isn't one. Likewise to The Anomaly, it has some strange elements in it, such as the paranormal. But I think, this just adds to the main storyline, and creates a more interesting story.

Overall, a good read. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a creepy fast-paced thriller.
