Upon reading the blurb for this book and the initial pages of the sneak peek I was intrigued.
I like the start with how the young girl went missing and then how it came to present day to meet Kristy who wanted to look into the disappearance in more detail.
However the last 10 pages or so of the sneak peek went off on a bit of a tangent with Nolan talking about the Nazca lines and stone walls. It seemed completely irrelevant to the story and rather long, drawn out and pointless.
This has impacted on my opinion on the book whereas based on the first half of the sneak peek yes I would have wanted to read this novel but that last part spoilt it for me, lost my interest and made me think twice about buying this book.
