The opening to this book is gripping, it sets the scene for the girl going missing and really makes you want to sit down, read and not get up until you have finished. The man the girl meets is also intriguing, in a way you know he means to cause harm, but you second guess that judgement. However, what follows is a bit slow. You follow Kirsty as she is setting the scene, she is driving to her destination where, presumably, most of the novel will take place. Despite this, I really want to give this book a chance as I feel like it has a promising premise and a really interesting plot. I think once you get further into it, the action, the mystery, the intrigue and most importantly, the answers will start to really pick up. This is a book I know several people would enjoy and I am excited to give it a go.
