feminism literature???

i can't tell if this novel is meant to be a piece of feminine literature or not?? very confusing. as a book written by a woman, I would expect it to be empowering but it sounds like it would encourage a lot of people to think of feminism as an extremist and negative notion, like some people already do!

I dont like the sound of this book one bit. not only does the message sound awful but the plot just seems very uninteresting.
