The cover instantly drew me in, it perfectly matches the book's dark (for some) vibe and compelled me to read in.
From the first page, I was hooked by the matriarchy. The first character we are introduced to, Arthur, seems to be innocent, but with a single flashback I completely despised him; it's not often that happens. The writing was beautiful, I'd definitely buy myself a copy!
